We are built on a more robust, reliable and decentralized blockchain

We built ndau on our own native high-performance, robust and decentralized blockchain.

Transparency — Explore the ndau Blockchain

The ndau Blockchain Explorer provides a public window into the ndau blockchain. All blocks, addresses and transactions can be explored since its Genesis, including the ability to filter transactions by type and date range.

The Blockchain Explorer also includes real-time data on the current market price, next issued price, ndau in circulation, SIB status, and a graph illustrating the issuance of reserve ndau in relation to issued price.

Native Proof-of-Stake Blockchain

ndau is built on its own native blockchain, not an ERC-20 token. Aspects related to ndau’s monetary policy, governance and dependability are embedded within this blockchain. ndau uses the open-source Tendermint Core for its delegated Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm.

Compared to conventional Proof-of-Work (PoW) mechanisms, ndau’s PoS mechanism greatly reduces the energy and hardware costs of operating a ndau network node, making node operation accessible to a much larger pool of participants. This larger pool helps to ensure a robust, reliable, and decentralized blockchain.

Fast Transaction Validation

ndau’s blockchain was designed to ensure its core chain doesn’t suffer from performance issues due to overly complex transaction validation.

Chaincode, ndau’s own unique and high-performance validation mechanism, was created to carry out complex functions such as multsignature authentication and other special rules that make ndau safer and more stable.

ndau and Ethereum

Developing new dApps with ndau in-mind will be made possible using reference code where ndau can replace ETH as the underlying collateral within any Ethereum smart contract. This will allow developers to leverage their experience with the Solidity language to exploit ndau’s buoyant nature and build new decentralized applications.
