Before you can Share & Earn an npayme, you will need 2 things:
1) Get a MetaMask wallet – The npayme network is a decentralized Web3 system, so you need a MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet. Be sure to use the web browser plugin version. Download MetaMask here.
2) Get some NPAY tokens – You need to pay 1 NPAY token to create your npayme. Get NPAY tokens here.
Ready? Let’s Share & Earn an npayme!
Step 1:
Open an npayme URL in your web browser.
You can also view a list of all the npayme campaigns ever created if you want to explore them all.
Remember, you can Share & Earn as many npayme campaigns as you wish!
In this example, we’ll be using Oneiro’s npayme campaign that is raising funds for Kids Against Hunger.
Click on the “Share & Earn” button to proceed.
Step 2:
You can see exactly how much you will earn as an Affiliate at the top of the page.
Make sure you have the 2 things you need to proceed (MetaMask wallet and PAY tokens) and then click the “Become an npayme Affiliate” button.
Step 3:
Enter your name and explain to your followers why you are promoting this npayme.
Click on the “Next” button to proceed.
Step 4:
This next screen gives you a Preview of exactly what your Share & Earn npayme will look like.
You will see your name and your message to your followers at the top of your npayme.
If you see anything you want to change, click Back in the upper left of the screen.
Click on the “Promote Campaign” button to proceed.
Step 5:
Now you’re ready to connect your MetaMask wallet.
Click the “Sign In with MetaMask” button to proceed.
Step 6:
The MetaMask browser extension should automatically open up a small window in your web browser. If it doesn’t, just click on the small extension icon in your web browser to manually open it.
You should now see the MetaMask popup screen in your web browser.
Click on the “Connect” button to connect your MetaMask wallet with npayme.
Step 7:
MetaMask will now ask you to Sign a transaction.
When you Sign this transaction, you will automatically Create your new Share & Earn npayme smart contract on the zkSync Era blockchain and pay 2 fees:
- 1 NPAY (npayme creation fee)
- 0.01 NPAY (blockchain gas fee)
In the popup MetaMask signature screen screen, scroll down until you see the Sign button become active.
Click the “Sign” button to proceed.
Step 8:
The npayme network will now set everything up for you automatically. Just sit back and relax and watch what happens.
Next, you’ll see a “Preparing Payment” message while npayme processes your NPAY payments.
And once your NPAY payments have been processed, you will see a message telling you the smart contract is being created on the blockchain.
Step 9:
You’re done! You’ll see a final screen with the unique URL to your newly created Share & Earn npayme.
Congratulations, you’re done!
Click on the Copy icon to copy your Share & Earn npayme’s URL to your clipboard.
Or you can click on a social media icon to automatically share your Share & Earn npayme’s URL to social media.
