One major participant of the ndau ecosystem is a privately-owned venture capital backed high performance blockchain development company, Oneiro.
At the direction of the BPC, Oneiro was contracted by the Axiom Foundation to:
- Design and build the v1.0 proprietary ndau blockchain
- Design and develop the ndau iOS and Android wallet
- Launch ndau on an exchange
- Setup and run initial set of nodes
- Manage the transition to open source
The Ndau blockchain development commenced in November 2017 and at its peak Oneiro has employed over 20 people directly or subcontracted to build ndau.
